LaVette wanted a rebrand for her custom doormat and craft business that included playful, illustrated design elements.
The original logo was a swatch of gold with a sanserif font, which did its job but was a bit plain for what LDS does. LaVette had started a social presence but needed a website to allow easy access to purchase, instead of ordering through messages.
Programs Used:
Adobe Illustrator, Procreate for iPads, Adobe Photoshop
I updated the font choices to be more professional and used a combination that had a playful mood. I also used an outline to unify the logo with the negative space around it, which also worked as a hint to the doormats! LaVette already had a color scheme chosen so I was able to get started on the illustrations right away.

I created illustrated highlight covers and a graphic of LaVette holding a doormat with her logo on it. Once we optimized the socials page, I created a Shopify website that consisted of 4 pages, including the shop pages. The website allowed LDS to streamline the steps of ordering from her small business.
